The nine-story PJKK Federal Building and Courthouse is located at 300 Ala Moana Boulevard, Honolulu, Hawaii within the Hawaii Capital District and on the edge of downtown Honolulu.

MASON has worked for GSA on several projects over the years with the overarching goal of improving the quality of life for the building occupants and their guests; improving accessibility and security; and reducing the long-term maintenance, energy demand, and water use of the facility.

Critical to the success of these projects is the phasing of the work to minimize disruptions and impacts to the buildings tenants; some of whom are high-ranking government officials, law enforcement agencies, and organizations that are operational 24 hours per day.

In 2018 MASON prepared a Project Development Study and design-build request for proposal for $108 million worth of repairs to the Federal Building.
