Congratulations to Elena Brown, MASON’s newly registered architect, with a registration number to prove it!

Elena began working with MASON in 2014 when she was still studying for her Doctorate in Architecture at the University of Hawaii.  She has been working full time with the firm since her graduation in 2015. 

One of her current projects required her to travel to Midway Atoll for three days to make the observations necessary to restore one of the historic World War II buildings left at Midway.  Because she was required to travel at the height of the albatross nesting season, Elena had to work around the birds including landing and taking off between 10:30 PM and 1:00 AM!
