Lesleigh has been at MASON since 2009.
Lesleigh’s main goals in life are to one day have a pet squirrel and a greyhound (please don’t tell her that those two aspirations are mutually exclusive). Her time in the U.S. Air Force took her to Turkey, allowing her to get up close and personal with some of the world’s oldest built heritage. It also provided her with the GI bill to augment her B.A. in history with a newfound focus on Historic Preservation and Architectural History. She aspires to learn all of the history about almost all of the things, just because.
Her work at Mason consists mainly of gathering all the informational acorns available, producing unparalleled historic contexts and building descriptions, and then editing and formatting the heck out of them in MS Word. She also putters with GIS, creating interesting, useful maps.
Lesleigh is an active member of Docomomo Hawaii. She *will* travel for food.
