Harry Chu, Architect, Joins MASON

Architect, Storyteller, and Steward of Place – Harry Chu Joins MASON

Harry Chu has joined MASON as an Architect, bringing over two decades of experience and a people‑centered approach to design. He moved to Hawaiʻi in 2019, drawn by the islands’ landscape, culture, and layered architectural history.

Harry holds a Master of Architecture from SUNY Buffalo and is a licensed architect in both Hawaiʻi and California. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). His background includes work across diverse firm types and project scales in San Diego, as well as residential projects on the Island of Hawaiʻi, before settling in Honolulu.

At MASON, Harry contributes to historic and contemporary projects that prioritize context, community, and long‑term resilience. His work focuses on thoughtful detailing, clear spatial organization, and designs that support how people live, gather, and move through the built environment.

Welcome to the team, Harry!
