Experience

Nichole joined MASON in 2022.

Nichole gained her interest in historic architecture at a young age by exploring abandoned buildings and renovating old houses with her mother. After many years of moving as a military child and spouse, she took her passion for preservation and renovation to Scotland to study Architectural Conservation in Edinburgh. While there, she was a member of the Architectural Heritage Society of Scotland Cases Panel and participated in projects including surveying and recording of mural monuments in Greyfriars Kirkyard, rendering in lime, and the construction of traditional stone rubble walls.

When she’s not combing through archives, she enjoys spending time with her favorite people, searching for treasures in antique stores, photographing, and dreaming about becoming a master woodworker and renovating a historic country house.
