Mark Potter designed this house in the 1930s, and Johnson and Perkins added a new living room in the 1960s. Mason Architects renovated the house for a young family, carefully integrating changes to complement its original design.
A new family room, master bedroom suite, kitchen, bathrooms and lanai added 20% more floor area to the house.
State-of-the-art appliances and a new lighting system combine with period-style cabinetry in the enlarged kitchen/family room.
The original double-pitched roof is replicated over the addition.
