Ke Ali'i Kai Lies on the Western Flank of Haleakala

Mason Architects designed 95 homes along the contours of a natural gulch overlooking Kihei, Maui, for Towne Development Company. Given seven different models, two different exterior design motifs, four distinct color schemes, and various ohana options, duplication among homes is rare.

  • One- and two-story homes range in size from 1400 to 2400 square feet and may contain up to five bedrooms and four baths.
  • Each home features a great room that combines living and dining rooms and kitchen.
  • Solar panels and natural ventilation increase the energy efficiency of the homes.
  • Many of the homes have self-contained ohana units, each with bedroom, bath, and separate entrance.
